Wow it sure has been a while (Update and movie review!)
Well what have I been up to? Oklahoma, donking off money, tilting off money and making money back from previous tilt sessions. All in order. Me and Chris went to Oklahoma, I played like six tournaments, did no good and lost about $3000 for the trip.
The highlight of the trip was on the way back, I believe Chris was driving and I'm in the passenger seat. I'm in the middle of telling him some story when he goes, "I'm sorry to interrupt you but OH MY GOD I'm having a vision"... in my confused state of mind, I gently utter, "What the fuck are you talking about?" ... he says "LOOK!" and points up to a hill.
On top of the hill is a church, outside the church is a huge cross lit up in a very cool fashion, the church is all the way on top of a pretty big hill. The road is going downwards quite steeply as you pass by this hill, apparently Chris had some kind of epiphany that we had chosen the road down to hell when we could've taken a right and driven up to the cross (heaven) when infact we are driving down towards Tunica (hell).
While he is in the middle of telling me all this, all I can think of is the fucked up hospital system in the United States who prescribe pain-killers that obviously completely destroy the minds of young patients as I have living proof sitting next to me talking about heaven and hell when we're on the middle of a highway in indian-country.
We get home to Tunica, I run well online and live, lose a bunch of money being drunk one night and have to start rebuilding again. Nothing really interesting. I did have a fun night with Andy and Austin out shopping at Wal-Mart. I have come to the conclusion that Austin might very well be the funniest person I have ever met in my entire life. I was rolling laughing for the entire trip at Wal-Mart for everything he did. I can't even remember half of it.
- We're up looking at movies in one of their whole-sale type boxes when he calls over some lady working at Wal-Mart accusing Andy of stealing movies and asking in a serious manner if he can be escorted out.
- He's behind me in line and I'm checking out, having bought a whole lot of shit. When the cashier lady rings up Maxipads. Thanks Austin, I needed those.
- Going past the canned food section and him just dumping fifteen different cans of shit in my cart and then taking off speeding away with his own cart.
The madness finally ended but I had to run back in since I forgot to buy toothpaste, he parks the car outside and we're more or less alone in the parking lot just like six or seven other cars and I run in real quick. I come back outside and he's no longer parked, he's driving around in the parking lot playing "Jukebox Hero" by Foreigner loud as hell through his speaker system and I was laughing my ass off.
I went to see "23" with Jim Carrey together with Jessica when it came out, February 23rd of course. I loved the movie. Without spoiling it it talks about the number 23 being this special number that rules the world basically, the movie was great had an very clever ending but it totally fucked me up. I keep looking for 23 wherever I go now.
Austins birthday 12/19/82.. = 1+2+1+9+8+2 = 23
Donald sends me a message today bragging about how good he is because he's ranked on PokerPages.com, guess what his rank is? 351st out of 1706. 3+5+1+1+7+0+6 = 23. OH MY GOD WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE.
This is totally ridiculous and I fully am starting to believe in Chris' epiphany that when we took that left turn in Oklahoma we were headed straight to hell in the fastlane. I want to repent my sins, please, I am too young and way too uneducated and dumb to deserve to die just yet!
